Your day

A full day boat trip from Muscat, step by step

Only the start and the return are fixed times. The captain plans the rest around the sea and the weather on the day.

  1. 08:15 · Meet at Seeb Marina

Free public parking at the marina. Come in modest clothes and change into your swimwear on board. The crew hand out masks and life jackets and give a short briefing.

  2. 08:30 · Boat to the islands

About 25 to 30 minutes across the sea. The boat is shaded and has a toilet.

  3. First snorkel stop

The captain picks a reef with clear water. Turtles are commonly seen, though never guaranteed. On some days there is a second stop before landing.

  4. Sandwiches, then the island

A snack on board, then we land on an island beach chosen by the captain.

  5. Lunch and beach time

Lunch on the beach or on the boat, as you like. Swim, relax in the shade or explore. Kayaks and paddle boards are available on request.

  6. One more snorkel on the way back

A last reef stop before heading home.

  7. About 18:00 · Back at Seeb Marina

From December to February you will often see the sunset on the way back.

How many snorkel stops are there?

Usually two: one before landing on the island and one on the way back. On some days there are three, two before landing and one after.

Which island do we visit?

The captain chooses on the day, depending on the sea and the wind. It is a protected nature-reserve island, and other boats may land on the same beach.

Yes. There are shade, chairs and mats on the beach, and the boat stays close to the shore. The boat is shaded and has a toilet.

Is it good for children and non-swimmers?

Yes. There is a shallow area by the beach, everyone gets a life jacket, and the crew can help in the water. You can stay on the boat during snorkel stops. Children stay with an adult at all times.

Will we see turtles?

Turtles are commonly seen around the reefs, and reef sharks often. They are wild animals, so we can’t guarantee them.

From December to February you will often see the sunset on the way back to Seeb Marina.

Are kayaks or a GoPro available?

Kayaks and paddle boards are available on request. A GoPro can be added for 12 OMR.

Usually about 12 to 16 guests on a shared full day.
