Muscat boat trips to the Daymaniyat Islands: every trip and price

All our boat trips from Muscat in one place. Island trips leave from Seeb Marina: shared snorkeling is 30 OMR per adult for about four hours, a private boat is from 230 OMR (up to 8 people) plus permits, and scuba diving starts at 60 OMR. The full-day island trip (60 OMR) and overnight camping (100 OMR) run from November to April.

Dolphin watching is a separate trip from Marina Bandar Al Rowdha, from 20 OMR. All prices are plus 5% VAT, and every trip is booked on WhatsApp.

Shared snorkeling

About four hours with two snorkel stops, chosen by the captain on the day. Masks, life jackets, reserve permits and food and drinks on board are included.

Private boat

The whole boat for your group, in the morning or afternoon, and you plan your own four hours. The boat price depends on group size (230 OMR for up to 8 people), plus a reserve permit of 3 OMR per adult and 1 OMR per child.

Dolphin watching

A two-hour trip from Marina Bandar Al Rowdha to look for wild dolphins from the boat. There is no swimming with dolphins, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Hotel transport

Hotel pickup is not in the trip price, but we can arrange transport for an extra fee. Message us on WhatsApp with your hotel and date and we will confirm the price before you book.

Non-snorkelers pay the same

The fare covers the boat seat and the whole trip, so a guest who stays on board pays the normal fare.

Shared or private

Shared boat or your own boat?

Half or full day

Half day or full day?

  • Half day: about 4 hoursAll year, two snorkel stops, snacks on board.
  • Full day: 08:30 to 18:00November to April, two or three stops, lunch and beach time. 60 OMR per adult.

From May to October the beaches are closed for turtle nesting, so the full-day tour and camping do not run.

Booking

How booking works

  1. Message us on WhatsApp

    Tell us the trip, the date, how many adults and children are coming, and the children’s ages.

  2. We confirm the date and price

    We check availability and send you the total, including VAT.

  3. Pay a 50% deposit

    By secure payment link, with a credit or debit card or Apple Pay. The balance is paid as agreed when you book.

  4. Arrive 15 minutes early

    At Seeb Marina for island trips (08:15 for the 08:30 departure), or Marina Bandar Al Rowdha for dolphin watching.

Cancelling

Cancel more than 48 hours before departure and you get 50% of the total back, less a 5% payment fee. Within 48 hours, or if you do not show up, it is non-refundable.

Bad weather

If we cancel because of the weather or the sea, you get a full refund with no deductions, or we find you a new date.

Groups and special trips

Bigger groups and combined trips

Large groups, celebrations and special meal requests are quoted separately, because they may need a bigger boat or extra crew. You can also combine trips: certified divers can share a boat with snorkelers when the dive schedule allows, and camping can be paired with two guided dives.

For example, 2 adults camping for one night and doing 2 certified dives each pay 340 OMR plus 17 OMR VAT, so 357 OMR in total.

Questions about prices

How much is a Daymaniyat Islands tour?

Shared snorkeling is 30 OMR per adult and 15 OMR per child (3 to 12). A private boat is from 230 OMR (up to 8 people) plus permits. Discover Scuba is 60 OMR, two certified dives are 70 OMR, the full-day tour is 60 OMR and overnight camping is 100 OMR per adult. All prices are plus 5% VAT.

Is VAT included in the price?

No. 5% VAT is added to every price. For example, 30 OMR becomes 31.50 OMR, and 2 adults and 2 children on the shared snorkeling trip pay 94.50 OMR in total.

Are the island permits included?

Yes, on the shared snorkeling, scuba diving, full-day and camping trips. On a private boat, permits are added: 3 OMR per adult and 1 OMR per child.

Do children pay less?

Yes. Children aged 3 to 12 pay the child price. Children under 3 go free on every trip except overnight camping, where they are 10 OMR. Discover Scuba is for ages 14 and over; certified diving has no minimum age, as long as the diver holds a valid certification.

Is hotel pickup included?

No, but we can arrange hotel transport for an extra fee. Message us on WhatsApp with your hotel and date and we will confirm the price before you book.

How do I pay?

A 50% deposit confirms the booking. You pay by secure link with a credit or debit card or Apple Pay. Prices are charged in OMR; if your card is in another currency, your bank does the conversion.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If we cancel because of the weather or the sea, you get a full refund with no deductions, or a new date.

Do you offer discounts?

Only for big groups, on request: ask on WhatsApp. Otherwise our prices are fixed, because we don’t cut corners on the trip, and we don’t run sales or seasonal offers.

How far ahead should I book?

A few days ahead is usually enough, but November to January is the busiest time, especially around Eid and New Year, so book earlier for those dates and for camping.

Can we combine snorkeling, diving and camping?

Yes. Each activity is normally priced at its own package price, and we confirm the plan and the total on WhatsApp.
