Privacy policy
What this website collects, what we do with your booking details, and how to ask us to change or delete them.
Who we are
This website, daymaniyatislands.net, is run by Daymaniyat Islands Tours, Muscat, Oman. For any privacy question or request, email khubaib@daymaniyatislands.net.
What this website collects
- No forms and no accounts. You can’t enter personal details on this website. Bookings happen on WhatsApp or by email.
- Google Analytics 4. We use it to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It uses cookies and collects information such as your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you view. We use these reports only to improve the website.
- Google Search Console. It shows us which Google searches lead to our pages. It does not give us information about individual visitors.
If we add other tools, such as Microsoft Clarity, we will update this page first.
When you book with us
When you message us to book, we ask for your preferred date, the trip, the number of adults and children (with the children’s ages), your full name, email address and phone number. Certified divers also share their certification level and diving experience. We use these details only to arrange and run your trip and to contact you about it.
We keep booking records in our own booking system, for as long as we need them to run your booking and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Payments
Deposits are paid by a secure payment link from Amwalpay. Your card details go directly to the payment provider; we never see or store them.
Photos
We only take photos or videos of guests with their consent, and we ask your permission before using them on our website or social media.
Who we share your details with
We don’t sell your details. We share them only when needed to run your trip: for example with the crew and captain of your boat, and with our payment provider.
Your choices
- You can ask us what details we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete them, by emailing khubaib@daymaniyatislands.net.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.
